Anthrocon 2008 - It’s a Jungle Out There

June 26-29, 2008 - Pittsburgh, PA

Anthrocon began as Albany Anthrocon in 1997, and since then has grown into the largest anthropomorphics conventions in the world with a membership in 2003 of nearly two thousand. All of the finer aspects of anthropomorphic, or more commonly, "Furry" fandom, are celebrated here. Our programming includes workshops and seminars in acting, costume-building, animation, writing, art and design, and more. We also host an extensive art show where the best in anthropomorphic artwork is offered for sale.

FA: U2 - Feel the Power of Rock

August 1-3, 2008 - Newark, NJ

FA: United '08 is being produced and organized the rockin' crew of the Northeast Anthropomorphic Association, a non-profit organization based out of the hardcore Garden State, New Jersey. The NAA was started by a group of local furs who saw the need for a new convention to fill the summertime block, and decided to do something about it.

Midwest FurFest - North to Alaska

November 21-23, 2008 - Wheeling, IL

Midwest Furfest is an annual convention that takes place in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. We come together to celebrate furry fandom, that is, art, literature, and performance based around anthropomorphic animals.
